Open Space Developments was established in 2015 to facilitate the construction of private development work mainly in the single residential housing, unit development and multi dwelling arena. However, long before this, involvement in the construction industry of this family owned company commenced in the 1970’s with bricklaying being the main trade for the first generation immigrant on his arrival to Perth from Italy. Construction was a natural transition and the quality of workmanship instilled by the masters of trade in Italy, gave a sense of pride and satisfaction at the end of a hard day’s work in these new conditions in a land far from home.
As the next generation came along, it was only natural that that they were exposed to building sites and brought up being trades assistants from a young age and naturally having a play in the sand at every opportunity whilst on the building site. This is where the interest in construction and the accumulation of knowledge began and then enhanced by formal courses of study and further experience attained from working for many years alongside and for a variety of larger scale building companies as well as smaller boutique builders.
This exposure led to the conclusion that in order to maintain a level of quality and complete projects in a timely manner and within budget, individual projects need to be given adequate attention. Open Space Developments is a small team which is hands on and takes on enough work to keep busy and not too much that it stretches its resources.

Morris
As a youngster Morris grew up on construction sites where most of his holidays were spent assisting his dad with bricklaying. Growing up in a family that lived and breathed construction, Morris developed a lifelong passion for building. This led him to working with some well-known Perth building company’s for many years and gaining valuable experience in all facets of residential construction. Morris has honed a unique ability to balance creativity with technical precision. From conceptual planning to final walkthroughs, Morris brings a meticulous approach to every project. As director of Open Space Developments, Morris combines industry expertise with a relentless pursuit of excellence, consistently delivering outstanding results that exceed client expectations.
Dom
Dom’s introduction to construction was at an early age holding the tape measure and reading plans helping to set out jobs. The biggest satisfaction he got was seeing a project progress from concept to completion which led him to development projects and obtaining his registration. In addition, he studied accounting and information systems and has been involved in running businesses for over 25 years. Dom is a valued partner at Open Space Developments, contributing his vast building industry experience and professional credentials to our team’s success.
Though he prefers to work behind the scenes, Dom’s guidance and oversight are instrumental in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards. His industry recognition and expertise are a testament to our team’s collective commitment to excellence.

Isabella combines her love of interior design with administrative precision to help bring dream homes to life.
